Nice view over Berlin.....

For nice views over Berlin you don't need to go to the Fernsehturm or Funkturm.
Between our home and Berlin city centre there are 3 nice posiblities to get an overview over the city:

- The "Glockenturm" at the Olympiastadion
It's 10 km/19 minutes by car from our home.
( your way to the Glockenturm at the olympic stadium  )
You take the lift up to the platform and then enjoy the silence and the spectacular view. 
Maybe you will be  allowed to take your dog with you to the platform.
We had no problem taking our dogs with us.

 - The "Grunewaldturm".
It's about 15km / 25 minutes from our home ( your way to the Grunewaldturm )

You can see it from Kladow. When you walk across the waste land behind our residential area or when you are driving along the "Gatower Straße" from Kladow to Spandau, then you see this tower right over the river Havel. To climb this tower, you have to take the stairs. There is no lift.

The Teufelsberg is about 25 minutes ( by car ) from our home your way to the Teufelsberg )

The Teufelsberg is located near the S-Bahn station "Heerstraße". There is a parking ground about 300 m after leaving the Heerstraße. Climbing the Teufelsberg is quite easy, it's just 120 m high. But you have got a nice view on Berlin. ( the photo below was taken with a good telephoto lense - the Berlin attractions Funkturm, Fernsehturm, ICC, "Rotes Rathaus", Berlin Dome and Siegessäule are not as nearby as it seems )
